About Kristin (right)
Kristin’s discovery of yoga started in college. Not able to take dance classes, she was looking for something in her life to foster what dance had given her growing up. Kristin first started taking yoga for college credits and instantly found the healing powers of movement and breath.
After having her first child, Kristin found yogahOMe and was instantly hooked on the vinyasa flow style and the Mariemont studio. Over the past 5 years, Kristin feels that vinyasa flow has brought back the joy of childhood movement and flexibility. Kristin continued to practice at yogahOMe throughout her 2nd pregnancy and it was then she found full strength and stability in her personal practice.
After recently graduating from the yogahOMe 200-hour Teacher Training program, Kristin is ready to spread the yoga love. She believes that keeping good alignment while balancing strength, flexibility and breath will help empower you to connect to mind, body, and spirit. Kristin’s goal is to pass along the enthusiasm and commitment yoga has given to her, and help others connect to their bodies and grow.

Gina’s teaching is inspired by a lifelong anti-establishmentarian perspective and a desire to help others navigate through the layers of confusion, judgment and fear that fuel today’s culture. Although she teaches yoga and meditation to all levels, she is best known for her powerful vinyasa classes. Whether you come to the mat for improved physical fitness or spiritual liberation, Gina provides a direct, honest yet kind approach to the practice. She completed her 200-Hour teacher training in the It’s Yoga system in 2005. “Move your body, free your mind, the revolution is within.”
February 25 | Mer Hogan | Awakening the Goddess
Awakening the Goddess is a two hour ecstatic journey through the inner realms of the feminine divine. This workshop is broken down into three pieces. The first welcomes and invites the deep nurturing force within us; we’ll begin warming the body through slow, sensual movement, self-massage and chanting to invoke and illuminate the in-dwelling goddess. The second piece is about raising the vibration and lighting the fire so that we may access our natural state of ecstasy and power. This piece is a lot of fun and will involve dancing and kriyas to unlock our prana and flood the system with joy! The third piece is the afterglow- we will take that ecstatic juiciness and begin to seat in in the central channel. We’ll move into deep stretch, meditation and deep relaxation to reset the pathways toward an orgasmic embrace of all that we are and all that we are becoming.
Come awaken your goddess and let her shine through your every cell. Feel yourself move with the radiance and ease you were born to experience. We will be gifted with the divine masculine energy in the form of drumming from the amazing Ry Stevenson.
Meredith Hogan fell in love with movement as a child. She grew up dancing and stumbled onto her yogic path while trying to heal hip & ankle injuries. She was battling depression as a 16 year old and noticed that yoga had the power to heal her heart as well as her body. It was clear to her that these teachings had to be spread. She moved to Chicago after studying Afro-Brazilian dance in Salvador, Bahia and graduating from Miami University with a degree in Cultural Anthropology and Theatre. She taught Pilates and yoga while in Chicago and received her training with Ana Forest at Moksha in 2003. She then returned to her roots in Cincinnati and began to teach. She taught at the Cincinnati Yoga School and at The Alliance Institute for Integrative Medicine, and has had the opportunity to work with some wonderful healers. When she connected with yogahOMe she found a real family. She now teaches at 3 yogahOMe locations and does one-on-one yoga therapy. She is blessed and honored to be walking her path in the company of such open-minded and open-hearted gems.
