Introduction to Mindfulness Meditation
This class will explore the foundations of mindfulness meditation.  Discussion on what it is as well as why and how to begin home practice.  Includes seated and walking meditations, lecture and Q&A.  This class is perfect for beginners or a chance for experienced practitioners to enjoy the sangha.  Participants are encouraged to bring a blanket, pillow and/or meditation cushion.  Limited cushions are available to borrow.

About Gina Fennell
Gina’s teaching is inspired by a life long anti- establishment perspective, punk rock, the Buddha, and a hope that she can help others navigate the delusions and fear that fuel today’s culture.  Although she teaches yoga and meditation to all levels, she is best known for her powerful vinyasa classes.  Whether you come to class for improved physical fitness or spiritual liberation Gina’s classes are honest and direct.Yet she provides a compassionate and kind approach to the practice.  “We don’t tiptoe through the tulips in my class.  Move your body so that you can sit still and meditate.
