A Spanda Vinyasa and Pranayama Practice
Friday, March 16 | 6:30-8:30pm | yogahOMe Symmes
According to Tantra, spanda is the ecstatic pulse of the source of our creative energy and our soul. The yogis understood this pulse to be the doorway to our spirit. When we tap into it, we tap into our great fearlessness, making it more possible to awaken into the connection to our eternal creative energy and the inner pulsation of spirit. This class will include a dynamic vinyasa practice, with primary focus on twists and pranayama within asana. Will also include some theory lecture and meditation. All levels welcome.

Using Spanda to Tap into a Life of Purpose
Saturday, March 17 | 1-4:30pm | yogahOMe Symmes
This class will include both lecture and practice and will take us deeper into the concept of spanda. We will explore the richness and diversity of both the tantric traditions’ approach to meditation, pranayama, bandha and mudra. Learn how all meditation techniques are not alike, which ones may be the most relevant for you, why, and how to practice them. All levels welcome, and will include a dynamic vinyasa practice.

The Spanda of Deep Surrender and Healing
Sunday,  March 18 | 12:30-4pm | yogahOMe Symmes
Surrender and restoration are crucial pieces in becoming more powerful and effective in life and spiritual practice. Today will offer a more yin approach to practice. We will talk about health and healing from a Tantric perspective, incorporating the time-tested tools of Ayurveda – pranayama, herbology and yoga nidra. This class is for anyone that feels that they may be holding emotional baggage that needs a release. Will include lecture and a restorative practice that will lead into deep yoga nidra.
